Beverly J. (England) Melton, 82, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018.
Beverly is a member of Shively Baptist Church. She was an entrepreneur and had served as an Alderwoman with the Louisville Board of Alderman, 7th Ward having served several terms as President .
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Melton Jr.
Survivors include her five children, Gordon Allan Melton (Susan), GiGi Blankenship (Ron), Patrick Michael Melton (Lindsey), Grant Allan Melton (Stephanie) and Christopher Allan Melton (Sarah); seven grandchildren, Patrick, Matthew, Jake, Grace, Jonathan, Timothy & Macy.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday.
