Pauline T. (White) Brown, 96, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at her home, with her loving family and friends by her side. Born in Logan County, KY December 5, 1915. She was a member of Ralph Ave. Baptist Church, Eastern Star Shively Chapter, Meals on Wheels, South Louisville Ministries, Southwest Ministries, Salvation Army and the Angel Tree and was a volunteer for Friendship International. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Andrew White and her husband William Thomas Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Pate, three grandsons, Mike (Gayle), Mark (Carolyn) and Matthew (Jamie). Ten great-grandchildren and two great great- grandchildren. Also her sister Viola Christan and her three special care takers, Linda Ottersbach, JoAnn Hamlet and Margaret Greenwell. Her funeral will be 2pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation 2pm to 8pm Thursday and after 12 pm on Friday. Family request expressions of sympathy be made to Ralph Ave. Baptist Church Mission in lieu of flowers.
