Calvin Jefferson Faircloth IV, age 45, entered into rest on Wednesday.
Jeff Jr., as he was known by his family and friends, also known as Lil Jeff and Bubba was born in Savannah. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Julia and Oliver Folker, C.J. and Margie Faircloth, and Paul Anderson.
Jeff was an active member of Parkway Baptist Church where he served with the Men’s Ministry and Celebrate Recovery. He enjoyed golf and the Georgia Bulldogs.
He is survived by his 17 year old daughter, Gracie Faircloth of Martinez; parents, Jeff and Ruthie Faircloth; sister, Julie L. Faulkner (Nathan) of Martinez; two nieces, Bailey Anderson Kitchens and Everly Frances Faulkner (who is due any day); uncle, Nolan Faircloth (Sandra) of Savannah; special aunt, Ginger Anderson of Beaufort, South Carolina; cousins, Angela Fowler (Jack) of Tybee Island and Hugh Anderson, Jr. of Douglas; and grandmother, Helen Anderson of Cabot, Arkansas, also survived by his girlfriend of 8 years, Michelle Morris who has always stood by him in the good times and bad and for that we are grateful.
The family will receive friends from 10:30A.M. until 12 noon on Monday at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Road.
Funeral services will be 12 noon in the Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
