Alaina Marie Kensinger, 28, entered into rest on Saturday, March 2, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel with Rev. Michael Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Alaina was born in Frankfurt, Germany but lived at a variety of locations. She moved to Columbia County, GA in 1992 and attended Evans High School. Alaina had a smile that could light up the room. She loved to dance, listen to music, and spend time at the beach, but her greatest love was her son, Bryce. He was the light of her life. Alaina was well liked by all of her friends, but especially her best friend and brother, Jason. Alaina will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Survivors include her parents, Edward and Nancy Kensinger of Martinez, GA, her son, Bryce Kensinger of Martinez, GA, brother, Jason Kensinger of Martinez, GA, maternal grandparents, Norman and Margaret Karschner of Lewiston, PA, paternal grandparents, Dale and Darlene Kensinger of Centre Hall, PA, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Alaina was preceded in death by her grandmother, the late Teresa Kensinger.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the funeral home.
