Wanda Lee Ezell Hall, 77, Clarksville, died Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12 noon Thursday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel.
Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - West. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Wanda was born December 4, 1932 in Bumpus Mills, TN to Charles and Lena Moore Ezell who predecease her. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James Hall, son, Ronald Hall of Old Town, FL., daughter, Pamela Hall Rowlette of Hendersonville, TN and sister, Clarene Jackson of Cumberland, MD. She was prececeded in death by daughter Sandra Lawrence, Evansville, IN, brothers Graham Ezell, Hubert Ezell, Frederick Ezell and Donald Ezell; sisters, Frieda Ezell and Charlene Ezell. Additionally she is survived by six grandchildren, Norma Lawence, Elizabeth Lawrence Childers (Grant), James Hall, Stephen Hall (Ashley), Jennifer Hall Frost (Gary), Lindsey Hall; and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by Maggie, her baby dog and longtime companion. Wanda was a selfless, caring, generous woman who loved her family above everything. She was a stabilizing influence for her family throughout her husband's long military career involving multiple moves including two overseas assignments. In recent years she faced multiple health issues with courage, hope and faith in her Lord. She was a good friend to many and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be survivors of the 11th Airborne Division.
