Mabel Hinton Hodges Mabel Hinton Hodges, 94, Woodlawn, TN, died Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Clarksville Manor. The funeral will be held at 11 am Monday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Bro. Jerry Harwell officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 pm Saturday and from 1 to 5 pm Sunday and 9 am until the hour of the service Monday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born July 12, 1913 in Montgomery County daughter of Guy B. Hinton and Maude Elizabeth Irby Hinton. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd "Buddy" Hodges. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Survivors include a brother, John Hinton (Lane), Charlotte, TN; two sisters, Nan Dorame (Ruben), Bakersville, California; and Ruth Proctor (Harold), Charlotte, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Phil Bellamy, Tom Hinton, Richard Hunley, Harold Proctor, Bobby Williams, and Calvin Grizzard. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Adult Womens Sunday School Class of Hillcrest Baptist Church; Ginger Hunley, Frances Grizzard, Mary Williams, and Willie Hudson.
