Noel Curtis Gupton Noel Curtis Gupton, 75, Chapmansboro, died Friday, November 9, 2007, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Monday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Peg Augustine and Rev. Ron Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Mallory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 pm Sunday and from 10 am until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born August 24, 1932 in Montgomery County. He was retired from APSU and was a member of Brewers Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Edmond Quincy Gupton, brother Claude (Ken) Gupton and his sister Margie Fay Magaw. He is survived by his wife Dimple Gupton,his mother, Margie Louise Minton of Clarksville: sons Michael Curtiss Gupton (Joyce), Adams, TN; and Edmond Keith Gupton (Cathy), Stroudsville, TN; a brother Darrell Edward Gupton, Pleasant View, TN; a sister Annie Kay Miller, Clarksville; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Phillip Murphey, Preston Murphey, Gary Miller, Randy Miller, Anthony Moore, Jimmy Clinard, Clay Balthrop, and Daniel King.
