CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

I’m so sorry to hear of Mary Jo’s passing. I’m her sister, but we haven’t been in touch for some time. We were very close when we were younger, and I loved her dearly. My heart goes out to her family for their loss.

Mary Jo was a true community leader for Madison County and for the State of Indiana. Her leadership with Alternatives saved and helped countless lives. Her work changed laws to protect women and victims of domestic violence. Because of her commitment, people were able to have protections from violence that did not exist in the past. I was fortunate to have known her and worked with her from the Anderson Police Department, which made me and others better public servants. Our condolences to the entire family. Mary Jo was a wonderful individual who dedicated her life in the service of othrrs. What an impact she had on the counties she added her insights and strengths to improve the quality of life of those in need of lifting up. God has received an angel who had already earned her wings while on earth. My condolences and prayers to Gary, Jenny, Michael and their families. Blessings to all!

Gary, Jenny, Michael, Johna and family -- I am so sorry for your loss. Mary Jo was a force for good in this world and it was a privilege to know her. I think of her with a smile because she always had a smile, despite doing the difficult work she did. She was a strong, happy warrior, indeed. Nancy Vaughan
