You-You alone will have stars as no one else has them... In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars will be laughing when you look at the sky at night..You, only you, will have stars that can laugh! And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be content that you have known me... You will always be my friend. You will want to laugh with me. ~ Antoine deSt. Exupery, The Little Prince. Thanks Ms. D. You assigned me this book my sophomore year. It's still my favorite.

I have so many great memories of Mrs. DeLaVergne. She was a favorite teacher of mine. She did make English and learning fun - even Shakespeare! Sending thoughts and prayers to her family. She positively touched so many lives. You should be very proud. Suzanne Chalut-Burnash

Mrs. DeLaVergne was one of the most enjoyable teachers I ever had at Holy Rosary. She always had a ready smile for anyone. Will never forget her fondly calling us her little “poops.

Mrs. De La Vergne was a great English instructor, classroom manager and home room teacher. She will always be remembered by her students as fun, creative and caring. I cannot imagine loosing my Mother or Spouse, my hope is that you may find peace in the knowledge that all of heaven is welcoming her. May God give you peace and solace during this most difficult time.
