Obituary

Anthony Luke DeCicco, age 46, of Cataumet, was called to his heavenly home on Christmas day with Cindi, his loving wife of 16 years by his side following his last hard fight with colon cancer.

His family and many friends were lovingly with Anthony (Tony). Tony, a native Cape Codder, attended 12 years in Bourne schools where he played football for four years; Cape Cod Community College, and Harry Lundberg School of Seamanship in Maryland. Tony was a Merchant Marine and he traveled the world for 14 years on LNG tankers to Borneo, Indonesia, Japan and the Gulf of Mexico. Tony loved boxing, wrestling, and would often imitate his favorite wrestling characters.

He leaves his loving wife, Cindi, two daughters, Briana and Marissa Currie of Falmouth and his granddaughter, Shelby, who brought him much happiness and joy. Tony leaves his devoted mother, Barbara A. DeCicco-Lawrence of Sagamore Beach and Bradenton, FL; his adoring father, Luigi M. DeCicco of Pocasset, and step-mother, Elizabeth DeCicco. He also leaves two sisters, Pamela (Thomas) Caradimos and Kathleen (George) Diefenbach, and four brothers, Mark, Kurt, Joseph and Carmine DeCicco; and many nieces and nephews. He leaves his mother-in-law, Janet Sisler and father-in-law, Joseph Nicolau, Jr. of Florida; and two sister-in-laws, Lynda Ponte and Jen Sisler.
