Karla & I shared many happy moments together. Whether we were golfing or just hanging out, she always made me laugh. I will never forget the time we were going down the shore to her father's place and I picked her up at her house and this huge dog jumped in the back seat of my car and Charlie's head was right between us all the way down the shore. Even though we didn't see each other very often these past few years, I always made sure I was at her birthday celebration at Osaka. We would talk and laugh and she would make me feel that we were with each other every day. I will truly miss you, Karla. Your Friend, June

I am deeply saddened by the news of Karla's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am sure she is at a better place. I worked with her for many years.

Hi my Kar, these past days seem so unreal. I’m still waiting on your phone calls to go for wings (even though I’m a vegetarian) lol..I always busted u about that. We were both each others shoulder to lean on or cry on. I’ll miss that! Thank you for always being there whether I was sad, mad, frustrated or down & out. You love & supported me if I wanted it or not. We had each other’s backs & I love you for that. I miss laughing so hard we cried. We would have ppl lookin at us like WTH is wrong with these 2 jokers?? we could care less. Im so blessed that crappy job we meet at sat me next to you (the mean lady) only to turn into one of my best friends. So thanks Xerox. I took a fireball gross shot in your honor. Surprised I didn’t puke. Lol Only for you?? I will remember all of the good advice & knowledge you’ve shared with me. They said only the good die young & that is true in your case. I truly hope ur at peace. I also send my love & prayers to your family especially your dad. Man, he is one great man!! Remember black tie ? lol That was hilarious It was truly an honor to have you as my friend or mom as some thought I’ll love & miss you always
