George R. Williams, 76, a longtime resident of Salem, NH, most recently of Palm Bay, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. George was retired from Western Electric-AT&T in North Andover, MA after a 30 year career as a Electrical Engineering Manager. George was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. Besides being an avid golfer and sports enthusiast, George enjoyed traveling with his wife Debbie and spending time with his family, friends, and grandchildren.
George is survived by:
his wife Deborah Williams of Palm Bay, FL. as well as 7 children and 7 grandchildren. His children include his son Kevin and his wife Amy Williams of Salem, NH, his daughter Nancy Williams of Derry, NH, his sons Robert Williams of Salem, NH, Donald Williams and his wife Elaina-Rose of Hayden, ID, and George Williams and Denise Smith of Salem, NH. He is also survived by his daughters Jahna Meinerth and her husband Nam Dang of Fremont, CA, and Dara Meinerth of San Jose, CA. George is pre-deceased by his wife of 33 years Catherine (Lehecka) Williams.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to commemorate George's life on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in George's memory to the C.L.M.
