Mr. Alan F. Hatfield, 65 of Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away on Thursday, November 27th, 2008 at this home. Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late Ernest and Eva (Gallant) Hatfield. Mr. Hatfield was educated in the Lawrence Schools System and later attended a college in Seattle.
He worked as a Civil Engineer for the Robert Lanzoni, Inc., Company, for several years. Alan was a cancer survivor for many years, after being diagnosed in 1999 with throat cancer. He was an avid sports fan and in his youth, he loved to play hockey.
Mr. Hatfield lived for his son Chris. He was an avid sports supporter throughout all of Chris's life with all of his sporting events. He would attend practices, games and would be there for his son in any way possible.

His funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Patrick's Church in Lawrence, MA.
Burial will follow at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover, MA.
