PITTSFIELD/BOYLSTON-Allyn J. Kimball, 82, formerly of Heritage Lane, Boylston, died Sunday, March 20 at Berkshire Medical Center. He leaves two sons, Ronald A. Kimball of Putnam and Kenneth J. Kimball of Clifton Park, NY; his former wife Barbara Ann (Whiting) Kimball of Salisbury; a brother, Edward Kimball, of Boylston and a sister, Arlene Powers of So. Windsor, CT. He also leaves six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two sisters, Marilyn Jean Dalton of Boylston and Mary Johnson of Holden and a brother Robert Kimball of Boylston.
He was born in Holden, the son of Henry J. and Rosabelle (Hastings) Kimball, and nicknamed “Sonny”. Allyn worked at Wyman Gordon Company for 25 years, before retiring in 1987.
