Lawrence, MA- Loretta (Brown) Gondola, 64, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by those she loved.
Born in Chelsea, MA, Loretta was the daughter of Fred and Mary (Giargio) Brown. Loretta was a home maker who raised and loved her children. She was an avid Red Sox fan who enjoyed playing Bingo and solving cross word puzzles.
The widow of the Late Charles T. Gondola, Loretta is survived by her children, Kerri and her husband Jeff Smith of Georgia, Tammi White of Methuen, Melanie and her husband Jim Spearman of Methuen, and Joseph Kirkland of Methuen. She also leaves behind her sisters Marion and her husband Tony Toscano of Las Vegas, and Theresa Faretra of FL as well as 2 brothers, Fred and his wife Susan Brown of MA and John and his wife Lyndy Brown of FL, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Loretta was pre-deceased by her sister Anna Camara.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and Friends may pay their respects on Sunday, May 3,2009 from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Good Counsel/St. Theresas Church,33 Plymouth St. Methuen, on Monday morning, May 4, 2009 at 11, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
