Methuen, MA - Eleanor (Anderson) Marceau, Houle, 91 died Sunday July 27, 2008 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in East Providence, Rhode Island Eleanor was the daughter of Oscar and Mary (Nelson) Anderson. Mrs. Houle was a graduate of Lawrence High School.
She had been employed as a clerk with the Internal Revenue Service in Andover for 10 years.
A former Lawrence resident Mrs. Houle enjoyed playing cards, cooking, reading, and most importantly, spending quality time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
The former widow of Wilfred Marceau she had been married for 53 years to Eugene Houle.
Survivors include children: Roy W. Marceau & his wife Marcelle of Salem, NH, Virginia M. Kamp & husband Len of Berkeley, CA, Wilfred H. Marceau & wife Donna of Windham, NH, Robert T. Marceau & wife Maureen of Methuen, a brother Russell Anderson of Lawrence, 11 grandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be private with no calling hours at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence St. Methuen, MA.
