Bellingham—Carol A. (Barnett) Bickom 66, of Bellingham, died peacefully, at her home surrounded by her family, Tuesday Jan. 22, 2013 following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Bickom who died in 2004.
Born September 28, 1946 in the West Roxbury section of Boston, a daughter of the late Earl and Ethel (Druken) Barnett she was a longtime resident of Bellingham.
She was raised and educated in Boston, and was a graduate if Mission High School. For many years she worked the deli counter at Larry’s in Bellingham. She was also a devoted mother.
Carol enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren, trips to the casino, and helping her customers.
She is survived by her children, Robert J. Bickom, Jr. of Douglas, Richard P. Bickom of Plainville, Carol A. Thibault of Bellingham, Wendy M. Flick of Arizona, Kim M. Bibo and Kerry A. Pepin both of Bellingham, and a brother Harold Barnett of Boston.
She is the sister of the late Kenneth, Edgar, and Arnold Barnett & Elva Heavey.
Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Saturday Jan. 26th, at 10AM in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com. Interment will follow at St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
