Mr and Mrs DeMeo, Nathan, Pascal, Danya and the DeMeo Family. We are hearbroken to hear of Paul's passing. Paul was destined to be a true leader, as observed when he was Cadet Commander of Pinkerton's JROTC program, graduating from West Point, and being Commissioned as an Officer in the US Army. He was an inspiration to a great many who had the honor of knowing him, and being able to call him their friend. Paul was an Officer and a Gentleman, and a Protector of our Freedom, where we will be eternally greatful for all his sacrafices during his short time on Earth. Heaven is a safer place, now that God has him to help guard the gates. May God bless all of you, and hold you in his hands through this difficult time.

Dear Paul and Family, Words can't express the saddness when I heard. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. May he share in the peace, light and happiness that is promised at our baptism and may our Holy Mother touch your sad hearts and fill them with peace. God's blessings.

To Paul's family, I knew Paul from his Pinkerton days. I vividly remember his respectful, and helpful decorum. I met him through our JROTC program as he always was willing to help us with our Memorial Day program. I am so sad to know such a wonderful young man has met such a cruel end. On this Memorial Day I hope my prayers and sympathy help those who were privileged to know Paul. This year we will, in his memory, carry the flag he loved so much i I am heartsick for all the family and am sending sympathy and prayers. Thank you for raising such an outstanding young man, a hero to all of us. God Bless His memory.

Hello to the DeMeo family. Folks, you don't know me, but I just read 1st Lt. Paul DeMeo's newspaper obituary. What an impressive young gentleman, particularly to have accomplished so much in his 23 years. Reading this man's story makes me proud to be an American. You produced a fine man. Please accept my sympathy for your loss.

Dear De Meo Family, I just got off Skype with my son, Steven Gregor, who graduated from West Point with your son and brother. Steven is in Afghanistan and this was the first time we have spoken since he left at the end of April. He is so saddened by Paul's death. He remembers Sandhurst practices and many other good times with Paul and wants to send his condolences to all of you. Please accept mine as well. From what Steven told me today, I know that Paul was a fantastic person and a good friend.

To the DeMeo Family: Please know that all of you are in my prayers. I celebrated Mass for Paul "Michael" on May 18. Leo informed me of the tragic news.
