Ackerson, Donald C. age 60 of Westwood formerly of Suffern died Sunday, October 5, 2008. Beloved husband of Suzanne (nee) Flematti. Devoted father of Donald P. Ackerson, Derek Ackerson, Tara Valcarcel, and Kimberly DePatto. Loving son of Ruth Ackerson and her late husband Ray. Dear brother of Ray, Patricia, Nancy Andreas and her life partner Bruce Spadaccini, Joyce Kastor and her husband John. His memory will be cherished by his many loving nieces and nephews as well as his first wife Catherine (nee) Schulz. Donald served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Marine Corp.
