I AM SO SADDENED AND SURPRISED, BUT WE ARE ORE THAN CONQURERS. RUSS HAS CONQUERED DEATH IT NO LONGER HAS A HOLD ON HIM. NOW ONLY ETERNAL LIFE WITH JESUS DOES. BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU BOTH HAVE ACCOMPLISHED. WHAT A DIFFERENCE YOU HAVE MADE. I PRAY THAT (WHEN I 'M GONE) I CAN CLAIM ONLY A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF THE SOULS RUSS HAS IN HIS ETERNAL CROWN. AS HARD AS IT IS, TRY AND REJOICE THAT HE HAS HIT THE SPIRITUAL JACKPOT, THE BIG WIN, THE GREAT REWARD HE HAS BEEN PREACHING ABOUT 'LIFE WITH JESUS'

Heavenly Father, I thank you for this man who You sent to feed the hungry. I thank You for his example. I thank You for his teaching about Gideon. I thank You that I am discipled. I thank You for showing me that we are one body, one spirit.I thank You because You mean what You say and when You say You are going to send a man, You really do send a man. I thank You and I praise You for being You, in Jesus name Amen

Dear Wendy, Rebekah and Elisabeth, My heart was saddened today, July 20, 2008 when I discovered that Russ had died in 2006. I know he is with Jesus and you rejoice in that but it is never easy to say goodbye to a husband or father even though it is just for a season. You all have been on my heart since we parted from the Missions Memorial. I took the chance and did a search on the internet to see if I could locate you and that is when I discovered the "In Memory of Russ Tatro" web site. The time I spent with all of you at the Missions Memorial was one of the most precious experiences of my life. My love of people and missions were renewed during the time I spent with you at the Memorial and have felt the calling I had for missions when I was a young girl. I know that God put you in my path for a reason and I am blessed beyond measure having known you and felt the love you had for people and missions. I pray you receive this message and I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I would sincerely like to hear from you and how you and the girls are doing these days. May God bless you and keep you in His tender loving care now and always. Love & Prayers, Connie Wallace
