CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

Walpole, MA,
Just a short note to offer my sympathies on the passing of Margaret. She was known to me as Miss Walsh and then Mrs Leader, because she was my second grade teacher at the Wait School in Medford back in 1958. I fondly remember her as someone who inspired me and was so kind and thoughtful as a teacher. At that time schools were crowded, almost 38 in that 2nd grade classroom but Mrs Leader never let it get the best of her. She made time for the kids who needed extra attention, like me, and made sure her who class got whatever she was teaching. Mrs Leader inspired me and even though I will be 65 years old next month i look back at her second grade class with warm memories of a teacher who truly cared and worked hard to inspire all her kids to achieve. Boy the world could use a thousand more teachers today like Margaret who worked so hard to make sure we got a good foundation on which to build a successful life. Mrs Leader may God bless you and may you rest in eternal peace.
